    This was a great overview of the information on self injury. We needed some immediate guidance for our family. I feel I now have tools to use and great advice about the steps to take next. I have direction now instead of feeling helpless.

    I have just found out that one of my adult (in her mid 30s) friends is a self-mutilator. Although power point often reminds of the filmstrips we saw in elementary school; the information here is clearly presented. It gave me food for thought and a desire to learn more about what kind of help my friend needs. Ideas on how to approach her were helpful, too.
